Zero Tryout Stress. Reserve Your Spot Before The 26-27 Season
If your player is currently on an SBV Premier team, you’re eligible for an early roster reservation—and you can secure your spot for the 2026–27 season before tryouts even begin.
This is NOT An Additional Fee
This isn’t an extra fee - it’s the same deposit you’d pay when accepting a tryout spot, just sent to you early so your player can secure their spot early, before new players come in.
How It Works
On April 1, every current Premier player will receive an early offer through Sprocket to reserve their spot for the 2026–27 season. You’ll know exactly which team and coach your player is being offered before you need to accept anything.
The 48-Hour Window
Once you receive your offer on April 1, you have 48 hours to accept. If you accept, your player’s spot is locked in. If you don’t accept within 48 hours, the offer expires and your player goes through the normal tryout process like everyone else.
But There Is One Requirement!
Your player must be registered for 2026–27 Tryouts in Sprocket to receive the early offer. We literally cannot send it to you unless your player is registered—the offer is attached to their team inside the platform. No registration = no early offer.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a new account even if I already had one on SportsConnect?
Yes. Sprocket is a completely separate platform. Everyone needs to create a new account. It takes about 3 minutes—your email becomes your username.
Is the Sprocket app free? Do I still need TeamSnap?
The Sprocket app is 100% free on iOS and Android, and it has no ads. You will not need TeamSnap for SBV anymore—Sprocket replaces it entirely. Schedules, messages, rosters, and game scores are all built in.
Can I pay with a bank account instead of a credit card?
Yes. Sprocket supports credit card, debit card, and ACH (bank transfer) payments. ACH means no more worrying about expired cards blocking a registration. Payment plans are also built in and automatic.
How will I get schedule changes and rainout notifications?
Through the Sprocket app (push notifications) and email. When a schedule changes or a session is cancelled, you’ll be notified immediately. No more calling a rainout line or checking social media.
What if I have multiple kids in different SBV programs?
One account covers your entire household. Add each player from your Dashboard and manage all of them—registrations, schedules, payments—in one place with a shared wallet.
Will my player’s history from SportsConnect transfer over?
Your player’s past data is still available in SportsConnect for reference. Going forward, all new player information, registrations, and records will live in Sprocket.
Can I still register for tryouts through SportsConnect?
No. 2026–27 Premier Tryout registration is only available inside Sprocket. You must have a Sprocket account to register your player.
What is the early Premier roster reservation?
On April 1, every current Premier player will receive an early offer through Sprocket to reserve their spot for the 2026–27 season. You’ll see your player’s team and coach before you need to accept. You have 48 hours to accept. If you do, you secure your spot for 26-27, regardless of any new players added. If you don’t, the offer expires and they go through normal tryouts.
Is the early offer an extra fee on top of tryouts?
No. The deposit is the exact same amount you’d pay when accepting a spot at tryouts—the annual fee plus two months of coaching fees. This is the same tryout acceptance process, just sent to you early so your player can lock in their spot before summer.
Why do I need to be registered for tryouts to get the early offer?
The early offer is delivered through Sprocket and attached to your player’s team inside the platform. If your player isn’t registered for 2026–27 Tryouts in Sprocket, we have no way to send it. Register now so you’re eligible when offers go out April 1.
I’m not doing tryouts. Do I still need an account?
Yes. Every SBV program from Summer 2026 forward—Rec, Juniors Academy, camps, clinics, Ball Mastery, all of it—will run exclusively through Sprocket. Creating your account now also gives you early access to Fall 2026 Rec registration before it opens to the public on May 1.
Will coaches use Sprocket too?
Yes. Coaches will use Sprocket to communicate with families, share schedules, track attendance, and provide player feedback directly through the app. Everything runs through one system.
What happens to my SportsConnect account?
Your SportsConnect account will remain accessible for reference through the end of SBV Summer Camps. After that, it will be closed permanently. All future programming runs through Sprocket.
